SUMMARY OF PROJECT
When I started to create my project I didn't know what I was going to make, and how.
So one lesson, sir was coming around and asking if anyone needed help, and i told him i didn't have any idea how to create games or how you would be able to play one on the program.
So he showed the class that on the program that you can open up a game and play it on the site, and on the side it shows the scripts in which were used to create the game.
So he told the class not to just copy and paste the scripts onto our blogs because he wants us to have a go at it and realise the problems and how to create a game.
So, i started working on the game, and i decided to do pong, as originally i was going to do wheres wally, but i myself couldn't find him so i decided to do pong as i enjoy playing the game and sir said it was a 'easy' game to create.
So, in the first lesson we had i started to create the game, while looking at the original and copying the scripts, and using my own ball, and bar.
Although in the 2nd lesson i tried the game for the first time and realised that it didn't work that well. I also figured out that the bar at the bottom has to be on the stage not on its own page.
I started changing the numbers on the scripts and eventually i got numbers in which made the game run probably.
Throughout the project I had a few problems, including those of having the ball go from one side of the screen to the other and not going down towards the bar- this was resolved in changing the numbers on the scripts and the degrees in which the way the ball will travel.
Another problem at the beginning of the project was that i had to remind myself that the scripts for each item where on separate pages, and i did all the scripts on one page, and the game went all weird.
This project was an entertaining and interesting one in which was enjoyable and easy to create.
The project gave us a chance to see how games where made, and we also had a chance to go on a site and look at games in which other people have used and what can be created on the program scratch.
